Acting Together on our Knees
Praising God for the 2500+ Collin County residents who met Tuesday, July 12 for diverse, collaborative worship.
Dozens of pastors, faith leaders and state representatives, along with mayors of Plano, McKinney, Frisco and local police chiefs and civic leadership, joined together for small and large group prayer centered around empathy, authority and cultural sensitivity.
Under the banner of Christ, there is unity. There is prayer. There is faith. Not race. Not class. Not vocation. We are one family, connected by the blood of Jesus Christ!
Want to get involved?
Pray Faithfully – Ask God to solve what only he can solve
Love Mercy – Show compassion to all hurting people
Act Justly – Stand up for anyone who is mistreated
Our convictions are that faithful prayer is powerful action, love is the greatest virtue and justice for all honors God.
It’s time to have grace-filled, honest and reconciliatory conversations about race relations in America.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 (NIV)
