What I Do:
Ensure that the church’s business and financial transactions are conducted in a manner to reflect the highest standards of integrity and accountability. Act as primary contact with all banking relationships and administrator over contracts to ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
That we believe and teach that Jesus is the son of God…that He came to earth to die on a cross for our sins…that He rose on the third day…that He is our Sovereign Lord and Savior. That we believe the bible is God’s Word and we measure everything we believe and do against it. That we believe in order to grow in our relationship with Him we must spend regular time with Him in prayer and study of His Word.

How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
In 2001, I had just moved back to Texas and had recently re-dedicated my life to the Lord. The first week I was here, I saw a marque at a church that said “If God is your co-pilot – you need to change seats”. I really felt that the Lord was reminding me that He is indeed in full control of everything (career, finances, relationships, etc. – including which church to go to) and that first week in Texas I prayed that the Lord would lead me to the church that He had picked out for me. So, instead of visiting around to the 15 churches that I had written down in the Collin County area – the Lord brought me here to Christ Fellowship and I have been here ever since.

Before Christ Fellowship:
I lived in Nashville and attended a rather large Methodist church by myself. Other than attending the Al-Anon meetings, I was never contacted or invited to participate anywhere in the church.

How I Met Jesus:
I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 13 years old. During the next ten years or so, I drifted away from the Lord choosing to live my own life and thinking that I could just call on Him when I needed Him. However; He did not give up on me – He continued to lead me to churches, bring people into my life that spoke of His love for me and what He did to express that love by dying on the cross for my sins…He was always pulling on my heart. I knew that what I needed and wanted was to return to Him, but was torn between following my husband and following the Lord. After my divorce and the Lord showing me where my true safety and security was I came back to Him and re-dedicated my life to Him.

Favorite Bible Verse:
Philippians 1:6 …being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
