What I Do:
As Executive Pastor I help lead our team and work along side the operations and ministries to give directional leadership. I love running organizations and inspiring them to be better. But my main passion is helping people find and follow Christ.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
The Church is about people, so what I love at Christ Fellowship are the people. How passionate they are in helping people discover who they are in Christ. There’s a great spirit of humility here at Christ Fellowship and I love how that plays out at our church.
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
I have been in the North Texas area since 2000. God has continued to open doors and put me and my wife, Susan, on a path we never imagined. I have known about Christ Fellowship and visited several times through the years. When Christ Fellowship started looking for an Executive Pastor, Bruce Miller and I started talking and praying together and it was clear that God was opening the door for me to fill this role and serve here at our church..
Before Christ Fellowship:
God started moving in my life to transition me from the corporate market place where I worked with Architects and Interior Designers around the world to be called into full-time ministry. It was a transition I never could have anticipated. In 2006 I served in my first role on staff at a local church. Since that time I have served at two other churches as their Executive Pastor. I am honored that God allows me to serve the kingdom and use my skills for His purposes.
How I Met Jesus:
I came to know Christ as a child growing up in Southern California. My parents were both godly people and I grew up with the privilege of being raised in a Christian home. My dad and a great Youth Pastor both mentored me as a young believer and helped me solidify my faith and mature in my walk with Christ.
Favorite Bible Verse:
Jeremiah 29:11 is mine and my wife’s life verse. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, but give you a hope and a future.”
I play guitar and am passionate about all things related to music, especially worshiping God through music. I have to admit I also really like guitar gear!
Random Fun Fact:
Susan and I have two adult children; Lauren Eubanks, married to Coleman, and they have one child, and live in Princeton, Texas. Our daughter Jerilynne Treziok, married to Jason, have seven children, and live in Glenwood City, Wisconsin.
