What I Do:
I am responsible for cultivating an experience for our guests that is all welcoming, with the heart of people who desire to help people find and follow Christ.
The Frontline team exists to help lead people to a full and joyful worship experience “from the curb to the cross.” When we serve others, we serve Christ. Here at Christ Fellowship we want to model the head of Christ – all welcome, people of grace.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I love that we are authentic. The involvement of the servants in Christ Fellowship both inside the church and in the community has always amazed me. I love being a part of this body.
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
We moved to McKinney in the fall of 2008 and began looking for a church the first Sunday. We spent a few months visiting various churches in the area and on the very first Sunday we visited Christ Fellowship we knew we were home. In fact we joined a Life Group that day and visited it that night.
Before Christ Fellowship:
My husband and I moved from North Carolina in the fall of 2008. We were very involved in our church in Winston-Salem.
How I Met Jesus:
I did not grow up in a “church going” family. In the fourth grade I started going to church on my own and never stopped. My relationship with Jesus has grown and continues to grow on a daily basis. I am blessed to be able to understand how much Jesus loves me and gives me the grace that I do not deserve.
Favorite Bible Verse:
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all this through him who strengthens me.” This verse has never failed me.
Grandchildren, looking for the perfect restaurant, movies, and retired SCUBA diver.
Random Fun Fact:
I have lived at 23 addresses in my lifetime.
