What I Do:
I am the Administrative Assistant for Life Groups, Men’s Ministries. Contact me if you want to get connected with any of these groups or have questions about these ministries.

What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I love our mission of “people helping people find and follow Christ.” It is simple yet so important. I love that our teachings and beliefs are completely Bible based.

How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
My husband and I moved from Kansas to Texas in 2011. We moved with our young daughter while I was eight months pregnant. We visited a couple churches and first attended Christ Fellowship when our newborn was one week old. We immediately loved the contemporary worship and biblical teaching. We’ve been here ever since!

Before Christ Fellowship:
I was a stay-at-home mom for five years before I started working here. It was a huge blessing to be able to spend that time with our two daughters. During that time, I became involved in Women’s Ministry at both our previous church in Kansas and here at Christ Fellowship. My husband and I have been in different Life Groups throughout the years since 2005. They have been such a huge part of our lives and that’s why I’m so passionate about the Life Group ministry.

How I Met Jesus:
I grew up in a Christian home and was baptized as a baby. I knew about Jesus my whole life and spent much of my time as a teenager serving in the youth group. After my husband and I graduated college and started our “adult life,” we refocused our priorities on Jesus and His Word. We both were baptized as adults and recommitted our lives to Christ. My relationship with Jesus and faith in God grew tremendously after the birth of our first daughter. She has a genetic disorder with many special needs and unknown prognosis. Throughout everything, I am grateful for our Savior and loving God.

Favorite Bible Verse:
Jeremiah 29:11 has been a favorite verse since having children, especially for the unknown future of our older daughter, Alexa.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

My hobby is food! I love to cook and try new foods. I also enjoy watching movies and going to sporting events with my husband.

Random Fun Fact:
The story of how my husband and I met is eerily similar to how his parents met. Ask me about it!
