Christmas Care Angels
As Christians, the Christmas holiday holds a special joy in our hearts as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. It is also about family, heartwarming traditions and giving. However, Christmas can be a dreaded season for families who struggle to provide for their family members. This is where you come in!
Thousands of families from churches across the country participate in the Angel Tree Program each Christmas and provide much needed assistance. Families use this to teach their children to care for and reach out to other children who may need an extra measure of God’s love. There is no better teacher than real life and real love.
Adopt an Angel
This year’s Angels include children from Webb elementary, families of incarcerated inmates, and children in Uganda attending the Wells of Joy School.
Visit the Christmas Care Angel tree after services on Sundays Nov. 5, 12 and 19. Then please drop off your Christmas Care Angel gifts at the church preferably during one of the Sunday services but no later than Sunday, Nov. 26.
Sponsor an Angel
A designated tree for the “angels” from Wells of Joy School will be available after services on Sundays Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26 where you can select and sponsor a child in Uganda. No gifts to purchase/drop off, just an opportunity to sponsor a child throughout the year.
We need volunteers to help at the kiosks on Sundays in November to assist with registration and collecting gifts each week. If you’d like to serve, please contact Alanda Maliskas at email@example.com.
History of adopting Angels at Christ Fellowship
Christ Fellowship has participated in Angel Tree since 2005, when 200 Angels were adopted. The number of adopted Angels has grown every year, with 446 Angels adopted last year! This year we hope to bless over 300 children.
Thank you for showing the love of Christ to our community, and special blessings to all of our volunteers who gave their talent and time to make this possible.
